
The Economic Development Program works to fosters long-range, regional planning among SEAGO’s member entities leading to the creation and/or retention of high skilled, high wage jobs. Driven by the goals and objectives of its member entities, the program assists economically distressed areas, planning regions, cities and counties to undertake significant economic development planning, policy making and implementation efforts.
SEAGO has published a map to promote and guide travel in Southeastern Arizona and Northern Sonora. Please view our interactive preview of the map. SEAGO was designated an Economic Development District under the U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration in 1991.
