The Southeastern Arizona Governments Organization (SEAGO) is dedicated to fostering economic growth and sustainability within our communities. Our mission is to empower local businesses by providing comprehensive support and resources to successfully apply for USDA Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) grants. Through collaboration, expertise, and community knowledge, SEAGO aims to bring USDA REAP funding to rural communities in Southeastern Arizona, ensuring a prosperous future for our communities. From initial project assessment to final submission, we offer personalized assistance and guidance on documentation, project eligibility and community resources to ensure that each application is thorough, accurate, and compelling.

What is REAP?
REAP provides financial assistance through grants and guaranteed loans to support renewable energy systems and energy efficiency improvements. This means businesses can get help to install things like solar panels, wind turbines, or energy-efficient lighting and equipment.
Who can apply?
- Agricultural Producers: Farmers and ranchers who get at least 50% of their income from agricultural operations.
- Rural Small Businesses: Businesses located in eligible rural areas, including private for-profit entities, cooperatives, and tribal business entities.
